Amy K. Slaughter is Of Counsel with Harrison & Johnston, PLC, primarily representing clients in business litigation, transactional matters and consumer collections. Amy received her B.A. in English from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, in 1997 and her J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2001. Amy was first admitted to the bar in Nebraska in 2001. She began her career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Nebraska. She served as a Deputy Legislative Assistant for United States Senator Chuck Hagel in Washington, D.C., before moving to the lobbying firm of Dykema Gossett, P.L.L.C. Amy was admitted to the Virginia bar in 2005, the same year she began practicing law in Winchester, Virginia. She has practiced law with Harrison & Johnston since 2012.
